LGBTQ Educators Resource Group

iChange Collaborative - We offer inclusivity consulting and training workshops to businesses, schools, community organizations, and government agencies.

"I can’t be there for other people unless I’m there for myself. I can’t really work to push our movement without really investing in myself. By investing in yourself you’re also investing in your community."

For LGBTQ Educators to come together in community

Find support in a thriving community of educators.

Increase your DEI leadership capacity.

Learn through sharing ideas and resources.

The 2022 LGBTQ Educators Group is for you if  you:

♦want to strengthen the identities of LGBTQ students.

♦want to increase your DEI leadership capacity.

♦enjoy learning in community.

Being a part of this group offers you the opportunity to connect with educators who share your gender identity and/or sexual orientation and can relate to your life experience both inside and outside of school.

This virtual resource group explores the kinds of institutional and interpersonal support we, as LGBTQ educators, need.  We’ll share our stories, discuss initiatives already in place in our schools and in our other communities; the kinds of support we still need, and how to find that it.  We’ll affirm and strengthen our own identities and share resources for our own self care.

Upcoming Dates

Educators from a variety of settings and locations meet virtually to support each other’s development as gender and sexuality education advocates.
