Being a part of this group offers you the opportunity connect with educators who share your gender identity and/or sexual orientation and can relate to your life experience both inside and outside of school.
This virtual resource group explores the kinds of institutional and interpersonal support we, as LGBTQ educators, need. We’ll share our stories, discuss support initiatives already in place in our schools and in our other communities; the kinds of support we still need, and how to find that support. We’ll support each other in affirming and strengthening our own identities and share resources for our own self care.
Six times during the school year, educators from a variety of settings and locations meet online to support each other’s development as gender and sexuality warriors.
